Since I talked about lovely teapots and my own tea party yesterday, I couldn't help but share this totally adorable tea party birthday celebration. Are you like me and realized that summer is almost over? I know I was just as shocked at you. Then I spent another five minutes wondering where the summer has gone. While I always make sure to enjoy Summer there's still a few things I haven't done… like make a peach cobbler {my dad's delicious recipe} get more wear out of a few sundresses hiding in my closet and expose my favorite platform wedge sandals to sunlight a few more times. So it's the weekend, go outside and play. Host a backyard fete, have friends over for brunch al fresco or just do those things you said you would do this summer. Need Motivation? flat is my favorite shoe. It's versitile, totally functional and can be dressed up and dressed down. For me, its the perfect shoe.
I must confess, for years I wore heels with everything, stilettos, platforms, wedges if it was 2-1/2 inches or higher I'd wear it. Well, I don't want to say I'm reformed, but the ballet flat has made this high heeled junkie become equally obsessed with a ballet flat. I was doing my normal website searching and found some just adorably cute ballet flats that are perfect for not only right now but the fall season too. Now if you're like me, you will coordinate your entire outfit around shoes. {…anyone have a Sex and the City flashback?}
