New Year New Table

>> Tuesday, December 29, 2009

While doing some last minute shopping, I discovered this lovely Hudson and Classic Band dinnerware from the Martha Stewart Collection and I was wondering how did I not know about these lovely pieces until now. I guess it's better late than never.

Choose from the far from basic black and white or green.

If you want to do some mix and match why not combine the green and the black and white together.

Dinnerware Desired

>> Tuesday, December 15, 2009

Do you see this fabulous dinnerware?

I've seen it in a few magazines and immediately fell in love but wasn't sure of the critical details (who it's designed by or where it is located so I can either swoon online or in person at the store.) While reading the current issue of Lonny Mag, I learned this oh so lovely dinnerware is created by Kelly Wearstler and I'm officially in love. This would be perfect for the Holiday's and everyday if you so desire.

Dress Up Your Table

>> Monday, October 5, 2009

One key color of this season seems to be blue. Be it rich and indigo or cool and soft hues, blue is everywhere so instead of letting your closet get all the attention lets share that fabulous fashion sense you have with your table. It's obvious this deep blue hue is lovely here but it could be equally fabulous on your table. Dress up your table with one of the hot colors for the season.

How lovely is this South Hampton Table Setting by Charlotte Moss.

The Ink Dish Irezumi Place Setting is perfect if you're looking for tableware with a creative edge.

Everyone needs a tea set so why not this Caledon Tea Service.

These Roost Siri Vases would be a perfect table centerpiece.

Friday Faves

>> Friday, September 25, 2009

Happy Friday everyone. This weeks Friday Faves is a selection of lovely things that have made it onto my ever growing wish list who knows you may want to add some of these items to your list. Plus there's a lovely wedding too!

Who wouldn't love this Gold Label Recipe box? When I saw it here, I like anyone else swooned and immediately thought of all the wonderful recipes that could fill the cards.
*Please note, this is on back order.

I love stationery and while I do create my own lovely little note cards, that doesn't limit me from collecting my share of stylish and lovely stationery. This Westside Kate note card set, is fabulous right? You'll also love Market Kate too.

Looking for a classic yet unexpected way to set your table, try these petite script plates. You could host a few friends for lunch and give these as a special party favor, or create a collection of your own using your initials.

{discovered here}

Finally, this photo is just awesome. I've seen this photo and wedding on countless blogs and it is amazing. This wedding was shot by Max Wagner and let's be honest look at this photo, how can this not be a fun wedding?

Have a wonderful Friday and Weekend!

Your Table in Black and White

>> Thursday, July 9, 2009

It's true I'm a girl who loves pattern and color, but sometimes you need to change it up. Let go of that color for the basic black and white color palette. These pieces would be perfect.

Hollyhock Platter

Hollyhock Bowl

Mina Placemats

Or think about using just this Mina tablecloth or accenting with these Mina Napkins from Anthropologie

If your looking for dinnerware, these pieces from the Vintage Dahlia collection would be perfect.

If you love the idea of black and white for your table but need a little color. Mix it up and have fun.

>> Wednesday, June 17, 2009

I realized I talk a lot about dishware and very little about glass and stemware, well since I'm no expert in setting a perfect table I'm just going to show some favorite discoveries. I will say this when creating your tablescape add a little of your personality and character. Mix it up like with some of these lovelies.
