Cookbook Junkie

It's true I'm a bit of a cookbook junkie. I love cookbooks but usually don't have all the time I'd like to create all the lovely recipes I covet. Yet, I still cannot resist adding to my cookbook library. As I looked at this stack of random recipes in my kitchen clipped together {mainly because I make them so often}. I thought it was time to compile all my favorite recipes in one place and thought about TasteBook.

Since you're in the know and up on all things fabulous, I don't have to tell you about Tastebook, but I will say, I'm inspired to create my own cookbook of favorite recipes from all the random ones I find in magazines or get from friends and family. If you're dealing with a stack of recipes in search of a stylish home {in print} think about Tastebook. I've added this to my ever so long list of projects to complete this Summer.

Right-Sizing Your Dessert

Here's another kitchen item I have to file under Genius! Being the hip hostess that you are, I know you look for cool kitchen gadgets and things that can make hosting friends and family easier. Well, in terms of dessert, this S-XL Cake Mold is perfect. Think back to all those times you've made your favorite cake recipe and was left slicing varied sizes of cake from slivers to chunks. You no longer have to hear the classic phrase "I just want a little piece" (my personal favorite) when serving dessert. Small,medium,large or extra large cake slices all proportioned and in one cake pan leaving you to just serve slices as the request are shouted out.

Puzzle Pieces

I've had my eye on these jigsaw cookie cutter by Cox and Cox. Everytime I visit this lovely little website it's always sold out. Such a perfect gift. Fun for afternoon playtime and cooking. Creativity abounds with this cookie cutter.
