Tag I'm It

>> Friday, December 7, 2007

I've been tagged by a wonderful blog It's Lovely and I'm suppose to share 7 random things about myself and post these rules....

Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog
Share 7 random and or weird things about yourself
Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs
Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Here we go....

1.I love sprinkles. They're fun and playful and yes I'll add them to my ice cream everytime.

2.I'd like to learn how to ice skate. I've done it unsuccessfully once before and after hitting the ice one too many times I gave up and resorted to enjoying hot cocoa and waving as friends zoomed by. {envious of course}

3. I like to crochet... I had a co-worker show me how to do it and have enjoyed it ever since. If only I had time to sit down and really do it.

4. I like the word melee. It sounds so pleasant in comparison to what it describes.

5. I think having breakfast for dinner is great.

6. I love basketball.

7. When I was younger I wanted to be a psychiatrist when I grew up.

Since everyone I'd like to tag has been tagged if you want to share your 7 things leave me a comment or visit these wonderful blogs on my links list.

A Little Re-Decorating

>> Saturday, October 27, 2007

As you can see I've done some changes to the blog. Thanks to How About Orange for the great tips on converting this two column blog into three. I was so excited since I'm not HTML savvy at all! I've also changed the header and again couldn't contain my excitement. The blog upgrades are done...for now. Hope you like the changes.

10 Things I'm Lovin {for my beauty bag}

I haven't done a "10 Things I'm lovin'" for a minute so this time I'm focusing on my favorite beauty products and new ones I'd like to add to my list.

By far my favorite lip balm. Rosebud Salve; The scent for bath/shower products is sooo wonderful, its Vanilla Cinnamon by Korres; Another favorite is Carols Daughter Almond Cookie;I love sugar scrubs and one that works so well and has a delicious scent is the Fresh brown sugar body polish another favorite is by brickhouse soap; I love voluspa, illume and votivo candles; I am a fan of philosophy's real purity and hope in a jar;i love body shops nut butter. Now there are so many delicious scents that well one isn't enough. I love a little shimmer and Bobbi Brown's gold shimmer brick compact is my favorite. I'm a bit addicted to MAC lipglass. Thanks to a post by the Notebook, I want to try the Lavanilla products. One little indulgence are these me bath products

hold all your beauty goodies in this or these

Add This...

>> Friday, September 28, 2007

To your registry, wishlist, Christmas list, birthday list. Whatever list you choose, all of these things would be perfect to receive. Besides, I know you're always coming up with cool things to give friends and family so why not have something special for you its only fair!

This Perfect Combination Tray is perfect for those things at your party that need each other.

Little Cream Book of Cool Destinations....
Brides this is perfect for that exotic honeymoon. Do you need to get away? This
book will work for planning that next big trip or if you just need a mental vacation.

If you get this book, then of course for a cool destination you need this or maybe this.

The Kate Spade Tuxedo Park Bow Becca bag is perfect for going out and would be lovely for the holidays, the black tie affair you're invited to or for that fall or winter wedding.

Every girl needs one good shoe, a staple that when all other shoe choices fail, that one good shoe will always work. These Kate Spade Georgia peep toe pump will work.

This umbrella is something you should have. I know you're thinking Umbrella but these Pare Umbrella's are not your typical umbrellas their style is so fun and unique who wouldn't want one. Once you get it ask for this and this too.

While you're list may be full of wonderful things, these few additions will give friends and family some variety when they're shopping for you.

Hold It!

>> Friday, September 21, 2007

When you have a lot of pretty little things, eventually it all needs to be organized. Let's be honest, a simple box won't do. Especially when there are so many far more stylish options out there.

I noticed that when it comes to my office, I have a lot of things. Sure they're organized but I could do a little bit better so here is my wish list of goodies for my office.

print stretch-canvas pushpin board-I love the pattern and figure I can use this to not only decorate the wall but remember appointments, hold little reminders and a cute picture or postcard.

I'd use a variety of these canvas storage containers like the magazine butler, photo boxes and regular storage bins.

If you want something with more fun and flair try these Chartreuse Dots Magazine File.

Ahhh the closet. What to do when the space for shoes is full, or those most recent fall purchases make transitioning your other fall clothes into your closet difficult.

These canvas collapsible boxes are perfect because they're ready to be used when the closet has filled to capacity and can be easily stored when you've deciced to clean the closet and make some donations.

Since ballet flats and mary janes are all the rage you know you can't have just one pair, so these shoe bins will work perfectly to store those new shoes taking residence in your closet.

Hello Fall

>> Tuesday, September 4, 2007

While it was blazing hot today and my need for cider, hot cocoa or a warm coat were not an immediate thought, I still must say hello to fall with more things I'd love to wear...during this season.

This Alice and Olivia, Colorblocked mini shift dress.

I'd make this flower bouquet blouse one of my "night on the town" ensembles.

And this wonderful dress from Banana Republic too!

For a day out running errands or doing a little shopping, this cashmere mini-argyle cardigan is perfect.

Of course it to feel totally like fall, I need a jacket too. Of course to stylishly handing the change of elements.

Welcome Fall!
