In the Details: Food Inspired Favors
>> Monday, May 17, 2010
Happy Monday everyone. I hope you had a great weekend.
When it comes to wedding favors, have you thought about food? I love a dessert or candy bar as much as the next girl
but why not do something creative and unexpected. Why not give your guest a favor they can take with them and use not just that day but over the course of the year.
You don't need to be a foodie to give food themed favors. Since we're all about inspiration here at Pretty Little Things, here it is.
Try something unexpected like infused salts or olive oils. If you want to do something sweet think about infused honey or sugar.
While you can find plenty of food favors here, if you're interested in creating your own, try this recipe
Who can resist pretty packaged and personalized food favor?
For the DIY Bride, here are two projects I've been holding in my favorites and all you need are a few supplies and a favorite Jam or Marmalade recipe.
Project Wedding Homemade Favors-Jam and Bread
Knock two details off your to do list with this project a delicious favor that also serves as a place cards for guest.
While a candy or cookie bar never disappoints if you're looking for something different go ahead, do a food themed favor.

we had a cookie bar made of favorite family recipes and then the more traditional favor was recipe cards for all the cookies we served and cookie cutters! the ONLY kind of favor for any party i host is food based.
i love the infused salts
