>> Sunday, September 27, 2009

Let's be honest Weddings aren't cheap. Creating the wedding of your dreams sometimes causes Brides-to-be to think outside their financial box. If you're looking for ways to infuse style without compromising your budget. We all know that weddings aren't weddings without the lovely details so how do you have lovely details for your wedding on a budget? I'm so glad you asked that question. Let me introduce Etsy. Have you visited Etsy? If I know you well your answer is yes so maybe what I share won't be brand new to you but just in case it is, go ahead and make a few bookmarks. You can thank me later ;)

With Fall here and Winter right around the corner, I'm sure many Brides are wondering how to cover up to and shield themselves from the cooler weather elements. Worry not, think about adding a stylish Shrug to your ensemble, these from Holly Stalder are fabulous and budget friendly. Order your own through her etsy shop.

Let's continue our talk of ensembles with Sarah Seven. She's been talked about all over the blogs and her dresses have been featured in Utterly Engaged, but despite all these wonderful mentions her etsy shop is full of lovely fashion goodness for you or your bridesmaids.

Now of course Etsy isn't just for attire, but for wedding decor and stationery too. I love the lovely calligraphy of Emilie Friday her whimsical and fanciful hand lettering would be perfect for Save the Dates or invitation envelopes.

Lets not stop there. If you're looking for creative ways to add flair to your reception decor try these fabulous place cards by Timeless Paper. While we'd all like to have all the wonderful table linens and opulent centerpieces doesn't always fit in the budget, so why not use these to add a bit of unexpected loveliness to your reception.

OK, we've only talked about attire and decor and stationery and already I'm feeling like there's been some money saving. I have a few more links for you to check out.

Looking for ways to add some fun decor elements into your reception space, visit PomLove.

Need a creative cake topper try these from Goose Grease or Lollipop Workshop

Looking for goodies fro your Bridesmaids? I'm still in love with these clutches
or think about a stylish necklace to compliment their dresses like this one from Designs by Krissy.

Now all of the Etsy sellers I featured happen to be some of my favorites. Click on over to Etsy and make your own discoveries, don't be shy money saving is to be had at Etsy and who doesn't like saving money?
