In The Details: Patterned Dresses
>> Monday, October 12, 2009

Usually when I hear the words Pattern + Bridesmaid, I cringe a little bit. Why? Because sometimes patterned dresses can go wrong. Recently I've noticed a few weddings featured on some of my favorite blogs included some lovely patterned bridesmaid dresses. I've also noticed a few bridesmaids dresses including unexpected patterned designs that have challenged my feelings about pattern bridesmaids dresses. Do I dare say it. I'm falling for the patterned Bridesmaid dress.
A Bride who plans her wedding and incorporates a lovely pattern is making a bold choice and showing her style and individuality and that is something I think is always fabulous. Before you make any judgments let's look at some photo inspiration first.

Patterns don't have to be just about floral prints, it can be lovely stripes or other geometric designs as well.
If you're on the fence about Pattern dresses, think about mixing a pattern with a solid color to add some depth to your overall wedding style.

If you're still not too sure how you feel about a Patterned Bridesmaid Dress check out this wonderful wedding featured on Lucky Me.
You may not be completely convinced but a good pattern in moderation is always an unexpected element to any wedding. If you're not feeling patterned bridesmaids dresses think about including a pattern in the wedding decor. Whatever you choose always make sure it showcases your style.
