In The Details: Welcome Bags

Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you had a great weekend.  The tail end of the week had me traveling for a quick trip to DC.  Now fully rested from a busy traveling schedule, today's in the details post has me thinking about out of town guest who fly in for your wedding.  While there are plenty of ways to make them feel welcomed, a lovely bag of goodies always does the trick.

In The Details: Signature Cocktails

Happy Monday everyone.  I hope you had a marvelous weekend.  It's crazy how fast Summer is moving, I can't believe August is right around the corner.  Well, this weeks in the details post is all about signature cocktails.  If this is a detail you decided to skip, don't.  Creating a signature cocktail is one more way to include your personality in the details of your special day.

If you're stumped over what kind of signature cocktail to choose, well of course I'm offering up a bit of inspiration.  Why not create a signature cocktail that fits into your color palette?

Let the location of your wedding determine your signature cocktail.  Maybe an island infused elixir for your beach wedding.

If you're hosting a southern wedding why not create a few cocktails that are full of charm.

Of course you can skip the themes and keep it classic

Now if you cannot choose just one cocktail, think about creating a his and her signature drinks.

A signature cocktail is a fun way to add a personal touch to the cocktail hour and reception of your wedding.  Create a conversation starter and include the recipes of your signature cocktails on cocktail napkins or coasters.  Go ahead add your own twist to the cocktail hour with a signature cocktail.
