In the Details: Bridal Shower Tea Party
>> Monday, January 3, 2011
Happy Monday everyone. As I was going through my inspiration files I saw this lovely cupcake/dessert stand.
This would be so perfect for a bridal shower tea party that I could resist sharing a little more inspiration for those who may need some ideas for a future shower. Whether you're hosting at home or have a found a nice tea parlour near you, start with inviting decorations. Set up a table that welcomes guest, with escort cards or other little goodies that will kick off the celebration.
Continue the "tea themed" celebration by using vintage tea tins for centerpieces.
Why not set up a tea bar that has a selection of teas and provide guest with their choice of vintage tea cups and saucers to try one or all the featured teas.
A tea party isn't complete without delicious menu. Include the classic tea sandwiches but also offer some fun and unexpected treats like these silhouette cookies of the bride or alphabet cut outs of her initials.
Send your guest off with a yummy tea inspired favor to remind everyone of such a lovely afternoon.
If you want to do something unique that involves a little DIY, why not try this fun favor or this creative favor.
A tea party shower is a fun way to celebrate the Bride to be. While this is definitely a traditionally themed shower, by adding your own little twist you can easily make it all your own.
