In The Details: Sweet Talk

>> Monday, November 2, 2009

While the wedding is all about the dress. The reception is all about sweets. Recently there have been plenty of trends from candy bars to dessert tables filled with every confection imaginable. Being a girl who loves all things sweet, I can't resist a table full of sweet treats. Of course I also need a good DJ to dance off those sweets as well ;)

Whether you are attending a wedding or planning your own, be inspired by one of my most favorite wedding details... the dessert table.

You can also create a dessert table that fits a theme like colors or the types of desserts that are featured.

As with all wedding details make them about you and your wedding, but if you're thinking about having a dessert table may these images be inspiration.

P.S. If you're looking for information on how to create your own dessert buffet please check out the oh so lovely post by the Inspired Bride.

This takes "eye candy," to a new level. The first year my design studio was open, I wanted to do something high-end for my client holiday soiree, but was on a budget. I ended up having a dessert party with 2 sweet cocktails. I had trays of all kinds of sugary bites, and it lasted from 8-10pm. Was perfect for those who were making the rounds. Your pics would be so great for such an affair!
